Well, after once before starting and stopping creating a news system, I've finally done the impossible and have started, and completed, creating a new news system. Enjoy permalinks and comments and what not, I know I definitely won't.

It didn't take that long at all, actually. I didn't even really expect it to be finished this year at all, because I wasn't really spending all that much time on it. It ended up being a lot simpler and easier to work on than I originally thought it would be, so I started spending quite a bit of time on it. After two or so weeks it was pretty much finished.
